Each year the SBMK organises a gathering for all colleagues in the field who are interested in the maintenance and preservation of contemporary art. This is a network meeting for curators as well as conservators and colleagues from related professions.

HIGHLIGHTED
– ‘(Textile) plastics and design’, lecture by Thea van Oosten, senior researcher RCE
– ‘Research into the restoration of contemporary photo works in which different materials and techniques are combined’, lecture by Monica Marchesi, restorer Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
– Special attention to the conclusion of the project ‘Conservation Media Art Collection Netherlands’. In two years, 3500 video works have been preserved and two studies have been carried out.
– Several workshops ranging from light art, copyright,  registration of complex artworks.
