The Modern Materials and Contemporary Art (MMCA) working group of ICOM-CC, in collaboration with the Getty Conservation Institute (GCI), will hold its Interim meeting Conserving Outdoor Painted Sculpture at the Kröller-Müller Museum.
How to keep the original esthethische quality of (painted) sculptures that are exposed to uncontrolled environments, including intense UV radiation, and all kinds of weather as well as vandalism or accidental damage?
